Travel Watercolor Workshop details …

This is for the workshop in Hillsboro.

Title: Watercolor Sketching: Postcards from My Travels

Using travel as a focus, students will learn basic drawing and watercolor skills for capturing scenes in a small, postcard-sized format. I will also share tips and strategies for what to pack, choosing what to draw, how to compose and simplify scenes, and painting on site. All levels and styles welcome. This class is an in-depth version of the one-day workshop, allowing more time for individual development and instruction.

Supplies: For the first class the only supplies you need are a small sketch book (in the range of 5×7 to 9×12 inches) and two #2 pencils with erasers (or similar, the kind school children use). We will discuss other supplies and sources in the first class.

Where and When: *Tentative*
