Ephemeral pond along Johnson’s Landing Road, Scappoose, Oregon
8in x 10in / Watercolor & Ink

Story: Scappoose would be mostly wetlands if it was not for the dike along Multnoma Channel. Durning the rainy season (Oct-July) many fields turn into ponds; a boon to migrating waterbirds.

Sun in Western Oregon, oh my

Sun in Western Oregon, oh my.

Yes. It was true. There was a bit of sun at the Saturday market and fun on sun today, Sunday. I got a bit of a burn to prove it.

Today’s farmers market was great. I had some new watercolors to show. I talked to lots of people, and a few went home with new original paintings! I like it hen people by original art – not just mine, by anyone.

All work and no play

All day on the computer!

Well, we have to do computer work too. I am still bummed about the cancellation of the reception for my show at Art on Broadway. The Portland area just isn’t used to having and handling this much snowy and cold weather so many days in a row. I will let you know if/when the reception is rescheduled.
